Talk to us! We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation (in person or over the telephone), during which a Nourish doctor will learn more about you and help you match your needs to our various services. If Nourish isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you, and even help point you to other resources or options elsewhere, so you can continue your journey to health. Think of this offer as a your personal health match-maker!
Each of our providers offer FREE 15 minute consults for those who would like to meet before scheduling a new patient visit. This provides a chance for patients to meet the doctor with no obligations. You can discuss your health needs and confirm if you are a good a match for one another. We offer in-person, video or phone meetings, per your preference.
An initial visit as a new patient will take up to 1.5 hours. During this time you and the doctor will cover all aspects of your health and lifestyle practices. Follow up visits are typically 15-60 minutes, depending on the complexity.
We accept cash, checks, all major credits cards along with HSA and FSA credit cards. We do not accept insurance for office visits, however, we do accept insurance for select laboratory tests. We continuously research lab companies to get the best rates and options for our patients. For office visit reimbursement, we can give you the necessary paperwork to file with your insurance company. Some are reimbursed through “out-of-network” benefits. This model ensures high quality care with time dedicated just for you.
Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention, treatment and optimal health utilizing the body's innate self-healing processes. Naturopathic treatments may include the following practices and modalities: clinical and laboratory testing, nutritional and botanical medicines, dietary recommendations, homeopathy, intravenous and injection therapies, lifestyle changes and various forms of counseling. NDs use a wide range of natural therapies and also write prescriptions for pharmaceuticals when appropriate. Naturopathic doctors seek to treat the underlying causes of disease and to restore the whole body to optimal health. Naturopathic doctors promote wellness using the safest, most effective and least invasive therapies available.
Nourish provides health services and medical care for all ages, both men and women. We regularly treat patients who have repeatedly visited other practitioners without finding the right solutions for them. Our patients are open to natural treatments and seek a healthcare partner who listens to what they have to say and takes a whole approach to health, inclusive of how mind and soul affect the body. Some of our patients are dealing with ongoing health concerns, others have no symptoms but simply want to prevent disease and promote their best health. We cover everything from chronic disease and acute illness to menopause, andropause, weight gain and more.
In short, we treat people who want to care for their bodies in a more nurturing way. It’s all in the name!
Your body gives you signals when something isn’t working for you. When your car is acting funny and a light goes on, you can deal with it one of two ways:
- Reset the button and ignore the alert
- Drive to the auto shop
If you choose to reset the button and ignore the alert your car will continue to become more and more of a hassle and that light will turn right back on before you know it. If you really want to figure out WHY the service light went off in the first place you drive to see a mechanic (the "car expert"), ask them to diagnose the problem, and fix your car so it won’t happen again. When and how you address the problem can make the difference between driving for another 100,000 miles and ending up pulled over on the side of the road!
Your body is constantly sending you signals about your wellbeing (or lack thereof). Our Nourish Doctors will take a close look at the “alerts” you’re getting and listen carefully to what your body may be trying to say. For us, it’s about turning off the annoying dashboard alert while getting under the hood to see if it can be fixed once and for all.

Naturopathic Doctors can act as your primary care doctor and can also work in conjunction with and refer to all types of doctors and healthcare practitioners. We will always work to find the best plan of care for you as an individual.
During the initial treatment phase of your care, you can expect to see your doctor somewhere between every 3-7 weeks. When symptoms improve and health goals are met, visits are spread out to anywhere between 3-12 months.
Patients can experience the benefits of naturopathic care within days or months, depending on the nature and severity of the conditions being treated. Every patient is different and your dedication and commitment can determine the length of time it will take to experience the results of your treatment.
An appointment is always required to see one of our doctors. Please call ahead and we may even have a time available day–of. We do offer walk-ins for vitamin injections and blood draws for established patients. We recommend calling ahead to let us know that you are on your way.
Your laboratory tests can give you a clear, objective baseline to understand your biochemistry and what’s going on inside your body. We can help identify imbalances and deficiencies in your system, which is the first step to helping you feel better. Many of our patients do laboratory testing periodically, to progressively monitor their body’s health and how they are responding to treatment.
We charge a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time. If we are not in the office to make a change to your appointment, please leave us a voicemail or an email that we will receive on our next business day.

A detox can be a safe and effective method for restoring the body's natural ability to heal. Because we are exposed to various toxins on a daily basis, it is important to help rid these toxins and restore our body's natural processes. We recommend doing some form of detoxification process twice per year. Please discuss with your doctor which detox program is right for you.
Prop 65 is a California law that requires a warning on any products containing qualifying levels of over 800 substances, such as pesticides, heavy metals, and even Vitamin A at certain levels.
The reason some products contain this warning is due to the presence of lead above 0.5 mcg per recommended daily dose per serving.
Lead in high amounts is absolutely dangerous and not advised. However, the highest per serving lead level found in any Nourish product is less than you might find in a 4oz. serving of lettuce!!
We use the purest ingredients available, but lead is everywhere in our environment and is impossible to avoid in many natural, plant based ingredients. That is because lead is found in the soil where the plants are grown and, therefore, it is present in virtually all plant-based products.
Examples of lead content of common foods are reported by U.S. FDA (these foods would require a Prop 65 warning if they were dietary supplements)
- Lettuce, leaf, raw (4oz) 1.59 mcg/serving
- Spinach, fresh/frozen, boiled (4oz) 7.03 mcg/serving
- Sweet potatoes, fresh, baked (4oz) 7.26 mcg/serving
That fact is – most foods found in the produce section of the grocery store, along with many other healthy foods such as nuts, fish, wine and many others – would require a Prop65 warning label if the law was uniformly enforced.
No! As the State of California’s own Proposition 65 website states, “A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements.”
The FDA’s Recommended Safe and Tolerable Daily Diet Lead Intake for adults is 75mcg. This is 150 times the amount that requires a Prop 65 warning, and yet is considered safe by the U.S. FDA. The FDA has established 750mcg as the amount of lead that is known to cause health problems. This is 1,500 times the amount that requires a Prop 65 warning.
