Why I became a doctor?

From a young age, I knew I needed to combine my love of science and desire to help others. I set my eyes on medical school and involved myself in shadowing, working at a hospital, and plenty of clubs amongst my studying during undergrad. After volunteering with a hospice, I recognized how important it was to address the whole person in medical treatment, rather than many of the approaches we see in conventional medicine. I found naturopathic medicine and never looked back!

As a doctor, I am passionate about building my patient’s self-reliance and empowering them in their journey to heal. I love integrating my counseling skills and truly taking a holistic approach towards healthcare. It has been inspiring to see my patients become more in touch with their bodies, minds, and spirits as we work together towards wellness!

What conditions I love to treat:

Fatigue

Thyroid disorders

Hormonal imbalances

Mental health conditions

Chronic pain

Autoimmune disorders

Things you may not know about me:

I have 3 rambunctious dogs who keep my husband and I active with plenty of hikes and beach days!

I lived in Florence, Italy for a year and worked for a volunteer ambulance service while there. I definitely learned a lot being in emergency situations while everyone around me only spoke Italian!

I’m a native Texan and will still always go for some good Tex-Mex or barbeque.

I love reading, writing, and playing piano in my free time, and I find creative expression so important!

I am a huge proponent of self-reflection, and you can usually find me reading a new self-help book each month.
