Why I became a doctor?
As a lifelong athlete, I’ve always been fascinated by the powerful connection between the mind and body- and how determination and willpower can drive physical transformation. This passion led me to a 15-year career in physical therapy, where I had the privilege of helping people recover from injury, illness, and surgery, to reclaim their quality of life.
During the pandemic, however, my perspective on healthcare began to shift. I realized I wanted to be part of a system that prioritized wellness and prevention, not just disease management. That realization sparked my journey into naturopathic medicine.
Immersing myself in this holistic approach helped me find a greater sense of balance in my own life. Now, I’m honored to connect and collaborate with others on their health journeys. My mission is to help patients to reconnect with their bodies, uncover their innate resilience, and trust in their ability to heal. Recalling the difficulties I faced myself as a new mother, I strive to create a space where parents feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their family’s health.
What conditions I love to treat:
Pediatrics: Allergies, Skin Conditions, GI Conditions
Women’s Health: Perimenopause & Postmenopause, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, PMDD/PMS, Endometriosis, Fibroids
Environmental Illness: Histamine Intolerance, Mold Toxicity, MCAS
Things you may not know about me:
I fully embrace being a soccer mom and I love watching my daughters compete.
I was an instructor at the University of Saint Augustine Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and I enjoyed every minute! Education is a passion of mine and I hope to return to the classroom one day.
During medical school, I became seriously ill from mold exposure. That healing process deepened my empathy and understanding of patients as they navigate their own paths toward recovery.
